  I had lived in that direct area for 29 years and ate there with former family members many times and with friends. The two times were awful and that is being generous. I took second wife there not long after being married and was disappointed with the fried chicken as I bragged about how good it was. It was dry yet greasy on the crust. We tried again and got mushrooms that were so tender almost didn't eat our food. The onion rings were soggy and my burger was undercooked. I gave it two stars based on the experiences I had before the last two, otherwise it would be no stars if that were possible.

  Came here on a whim after running some errands. I think I just had the best steak I've ever tried here. Petite filet was perfectly seasoned. Salad wad great. Green beans were a little sweet, but still fine. Service was perfect. I don't normally come out this far to eat but I'll make the trek back just to eat here again!
